How long does the procedure take?
About an hour for the neck and chin area. It may be longer in larger areas but generally no longer than 2 hours
Will I be awake?
Yes, CoolLipo can be performed in our accredited operating room. An oral sedative may be given. For those who prefer being asleep during a procedure general anesthesia is available.
Does it hurt?
No, the area treated with CoolLipo will have an anesthetic solution injected before the laser is used.
What will I look like after the procedure?
The treated area is wrapped with a compression bandage. Typically compression is required for 48 hours.
What does the treated area look like?
There might be some swelling for a few days and occasionally bruising. Also, it might be tender for several days.
How soon will CoolLipo show results?
CoolLipo will show results within a week after the procedure with continued improvement up to 2-6 months.
How many treatments will I need?
Usually only one is needed.
